Professional education

• Medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa.
• Specialty training in Gynecology and Obstetrics, training in Health Sciences Research Methods, subspecialty training in Human Reproductive Biology at the Instituto Nacional de Perinatología, and a master’s degree in Medical Sciences.
• Board certification in Human Reproductive Biology from the Consejo Mexicano de Ginecología y Obstetricia, as published by ViaFERT.
• Training in reproductive surgery using hysteroscopy and additional training in endocrinology, reproduction, colposcopy, lower genital tract pathology and ultrasound.
