BEFORE YOU BOOK

Confirm the clinical plan before arranging the trip

01

Before travel

Start with your city and contact details. Reception will confirm the clinic and the appropriate secure channel before requesting records or clinical information. Review which stages may be coordinated remotely and confirm likely dates, a companion and flexibility for changes before booking.

02

During in-person care

Keep your medications, identification, clinical instructions and team contact details available. Monitoring and procedure dates depend on your individual plan and response to treatment.

03

Return and follow-up

Before returning home, confirm medications, results, warning signs, travel restrictions and your next review. Ask which checks will take place near home and who will review the results.

Review published treatment prices and request guidance for your clinic and dates. The first message only needs contact information; reception will explain the appropriate secure channel for clinical records.

Gestational-surrogacy program: USD 48,500, all-inclusive

ViaFERT management confirmed on September 23, 2026 that its comprehensive gestational-surrogacy program includes medical and legal care, pregnancy care and delivery for USD 48,500. This is the surrogacy-program price, not the price of a standalone IVF cycle.

The USD 150,000 U.S. figure is a separate internal educational planning reference, not an audited national average or a U.S. provider quotation. Request the ViaFERT program scope, responsibilities and payment schedule in writing. Individual medical and legal assessment is required; a program price does not guarantee pregnancy, live birth, legal parentage or consular documents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers to common questions before traveling

Can I start with an online consultation?

Yes. An initial remote consultation can help review your history, available records and goals. The team can then explain which evaluations require an in-person visit.

How long will I need to stay in Culiacán or Mazatlán?

It depends on the treatment, the timing of your cycle and whether monitoring can be completed near your home. Ask for an individual estimate before booking flights.

Which ViaFERT location should I choose?

The appropriate location depends on your treatment, the services available for each stage and appointment logistics. The team will guide you before you travel.

Can monitoring be completed near my home?

In selected cases. ViaFERT must confirm which tests can be performed remotely, the required dates and the technical information that must be reported.

Can I travel with fertility medications?

Usually, but storage instructions, original packaging and a prescription or medical letter are important. Check the airline’s rules for needles, syringes, liquids and cooling packs.

Will I need a travel companion?

It depends on the procedure. Sedation or surgery may require a responsible adult to accompany you when you leave the clinic.

Is bed rest required after embryo transfer?

You will receive individual instructions. Routine absolute bed rest has not been shown to improve outcomes; the recommendations from your clinical team take priority.

What happens if the procedure date changes?

Some dates may change as treatment progresses. Flexible flight and accommodation policies can reduce logistical stress.

RESPONSIBLE MEDICAL TRAVEL · STAGED PLANNING

Travel should follow the clinical plan, not become the clinical plan

Safer planning begins with remote record review and confirmation of the clinic and appointment type. Flexible bookings, medication continuity, follow-up and an urgent-care plan should be addressed before travel.

Before booking

Confirm useful records, tests that must be repeated, clinic location, likely duration and which dates depend on treatment response.

During the stay

Keep medication, identification, clinical instructions, team contacts and time for schedule changes or recovery.

Return and follow-up

Obtain results, prescriptions, warning signs, travel restrictions and a plan for monitoring in your home location.

Scope

Travel guidance is complementary and does not replace medical instructions, immigration rules, insurance review or emergency care.

REGIONAL FERTILITY CARE · NORTHWEST MEXICO

Plan visits from northern Sinaloa, Durango or Nayarit before traveling

Patients outside Culiacán and Mazatlán can begin by sharing available records and confirming which ViaFERT location, appointment type and in-person stages apply to their individual plan.

Los Mochis, Guasave and northern Sinaloa

Ask which prior studies are useful, whether any monitoring may be coordinated near home and when an in-person visit to Culiacán is required.

Durango and Nayarit

Confirm the likely number of visits, flexible dates, recovery time and which location is appropriate before booking transport or lodging.

One plan for each treatment stage

Consultation, stimulation monitoring, procedures, embryo transfer and follow-up do not have the same travel requirements. The clinical team must confirm each stage.
